3. Upgrade Promotion: Initiatives that not only aim to boost competitiveness but also contribute to regional economic development through new equipment.

Examples of Eligible Expenses: Grants can cover expenses related to new machinery, equipment, and software installation and procurement, with a minimum cost of 500,000 Yen (excl. tax) for each item.

Additional Information on the Subsidy

• - Eligible applicants must be registered as small and medium-sized enterprises in Tokyo as of October 1, 2023, and must have been operating for at least two years.
• - The funding period extends from one month after the grant award to a maximum of 1.5 years (until September 30, 2024).
