33rd Annual Crawfish Fest in Augusta, NJ Features Stellar Lineup of New Orleans Artists
33rd Annual Crawfish Festival Set for Augusta, NJ
Mark your calendars! Michael Arnone's Crawfish Festival is returning to Augusta, New Jersey, from May 30 to June 1, 2025. This beloved annual event, which has become a landmark celebration of Louisiana culture in the Northeast, showcases some of the best music and cuisine from the Crescent City.
This year’s festival ups the ante with an incredible lineup featuring GALACTIC, along with talented artists such as Jelly Joseph, George Porter Jr. and Runnin' Pardners, and Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen. The music sessions will span two stages, featuring a plethora of Grammy Award winners including Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience, Stanton Moore, and Marcia Ball. All these talents will fill the air with the distinctive sounds of New Orleans!
A Celebration of Flavor
But it’s not just about the music; food lovers will also find themselves in paradise at this festival. Attendees can indulge in authentic Louisiana cuisine that is often hard to come by in this region. Michael's famous Jambalaya, crafted from Savoie’s smoked pork sausage and chicken, is prepared in five large 45-gallon iron pots, while the Crawfish Etouffee features real Louisiana Crawfish tail meat among other regional delicacies.
As the festival approaches, excitement builds, with locals reminiscing about the vibrant culture surrounding Mardi Gras and anticipating the crawfish boils of the season, all amidst the backdrop of unique sounds from brass bands and high school marching bands in their final preparations for Mardi Gras parades.
Tickets and Accommodations
Tickets for the festival are available online, including day passes for Saturday or Sunday, a combo ticket covering both weekend days, and options for camping or glamping to enhance your experience. Those opting for camping can look forward to exclusive Camper-Only sessions on Friday and Saturday nights, complete with a complimentary jambalaya dinner on Friday.
To ease the planning process, the festival has launched an Interactive Hotel Map, perfect for finding nearby lodging and shuttle services. Best of all, free parking will be provided, and children under 14 can attend free with parents. Remember, service animals will be the only ones allowed on the premises.
More Than Just a Festival
In the interim, fans of the festival can bring a slice of the festivities home by indulging in a king cake from legendary bakeries such as Haydel’s, Gambino’s, or Caluda’s, or whip up some Jambalaya using Michael’s own Jambalaya Mix available online. Don’t miss the opportunity to book Michael for his 2025 Jambalaya Tour, where he’ll bring the flavors of Louisiana to your corporate events, weddings, or festivals.
