KEY The Energy Transition Expo Sets Stage for International Debate on Energy Efficiency

The Energy Transition Expo, known as KEY, is returning to the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy from March 5 to 7, 2025, and will feature a comprehensive international schedule designed to tackle pressing issues in energy transition and efficiency. This significant event, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will present over 100 activities, including discussions, workshops, and conferences tailored to industry professionals and academics alike.

Each of these events is supported by the Technical Scientific Committee (TSC), chaired by Professor Gianni Silvestrini, and is expected to gather leading experts across various fields to share insights and promote dialogue about innovations and regulations that are currently shaping the future of energy. According to Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG, KEY has become a pivotal gathering for the global community seeking to stay updated on the latest developments in energy technologies.

"More than just an exhibition, KEY25 serves as a hub for information where attendees can grasp broader views about energy transition while discovering market trends and future opportunities through conversations with prominent experts from academia, industry, associations, and governmental institutions," remarked Alessandra Astolfi, the Global Exhibition Director at IEG.

The theme of this year's expo revolves around key issues such as energy cost management, new job opportunities emerging from the energy transition, and innovative financing tools essential for sustaining growth in this sector. The event is set to host over 1,000 exhibitors, marking a significant increase of over 20% compared to last year, with more than 30% of participants coming from international backgrounds.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), along with various industry associations, the expo is also expecting approximately 350 buyers and delegations from more than 50 countries. The goal is to foster connections and networking opportunities among global stakeholders involved in the energy sector.

Event attendees can find the full schedule of activities on the official expo website, which provides detailed information about each session and speaker. KEY25 aims to provide attendees with actionable insights and strategies that can be implemented in their own energy practices.

With the trend of sustainability gaining traction, the need to adapt and innovate within the energy sector has never been more pressing. Industry professionals are encouraged to participate actively in discussions that will help address sustainability challenges and explore pathways for energy efficiency.

For those planning to attend, it promises to be an enriching experience with many learning opportunities and peer networking. Ensure you save the dates and prepare to engage with a multitude of discussions around the future of energy efficiency at the Energy Transition Expo in Rimini, Italy. This event is not just about showcasing products and services; it's about arriving at solutions that will shape a sustainable energy landscape for the future.
