Overview of the Industrial Exchange Exhibition 2025
The Industrial Exchange Exhibition 2025 is set to kick off from November 26 at Tokyo Big Sight's West Exhibition Hall. This year marks the 28th iteration of the exhibition, which brings together an impressive array of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the Kanto region. Known as Japan's largest trade fair, this event showcases exceptional technologies and products across various sectors.
The exhibition will feature approximately 700 exhibitors, focusing primarily on four key fields: information technology, environmental concerns, healthcare and welfare, as well as machinery and metal processing. Attendees can expect a range of advancements and insights during this three-day event.
Highlights of This Year’s Exhibition
One of the major attractions is the
DotHealth Body Measurement Pod, which made headlines during the Osaka Kansai Expo by welcoming over 5.53 million visitors at the
Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. This cutting-edge exhibit will be available for public viewing starting from the afternoon of November 27, allowing visitors to explore its functionalities and internal mechanics in detail.
The DotHealth Body Measurement Pod aims to raise awareness of health maintenance among visitors, demonstrating its sophisticated mechanisms to offer a comprehensive understanding of personal health monitoring. This innovative display is poised to captivate attendees, making it a must-see at this year’s fair.
Special Exhibits
In addition to the DotHealth exhibit, another captivating highlight is the
1/1 Scopedog, a life-sized iron sculpture created exclusively by individual artist Masayuki Kurata. Modeled after the iconic mecha from the beloved 1983 anime series
Armored Trooper VOTOMS, this impressive piece stands at approximately 4 meters tall and is made from 2 tons of iron. Kurata’s dedication to pushing the limits of personal craftsmanship is evident in this extraordinary artwork, inviting attendees to witness the incredible weight and artistry firsthand.
Latest Tech Zone
The
Latest Tech Zone located in West Hall 1 will feature not only the Body Measurement Pod and Scopedog but also a plethora of cutting-edge technologies including autofocus eyewear and devices utilizing functional fluids. Also on display are indie games that allow visitors to experience
gamification, a concept that combines game-like elements with serious applications like business management, social contribution, and health management.
Gamification Corner
The Gamification Corner showcases unique games crafted to educate and promote health while providing entertainment. Among the eight talented individual developers presented, attendees can explore original digital and board games that focus on skill-enhancing and learning through play. The exhibition also features a
Sports Tech Zone in the atrium of the West Exhibition Hall. Attendees can learn about services related to the Deaflympics, which include a real-time subtitle display system, services for measuring hearing impairments, and apps for assessing cognitive health. The zone will also feature gamification-driven fitness games, allowing visitors to experience innovative health management services actively.
