Taiwanese Indie Artist Everydaze Makes Waves in Japan

Hailing from Taiwan, Everydaze is a dynamic singer-songwriter and producer who is all set to perform in Japan for the very first time at the renowned music showcase event, MINAMI WHEEL 2025, on October 13. This festival is one of the most prominent music events in the Kansai region and offers a vibrant platform for emerging artists.

A New Generation of Indie Artists

Everydaze represents the new wave of indie artists, making strides with an eclectic mix of genres including Bedroom-Pop, Indie-Pop, and R&B. Their sound uniquely combines vintage elements with contemporary vibes, featuring lush guitar melodies intertwined with modern synth sounds. Through their translucent vocals and memorable melodies, Everydaze captures the essence of young people's feelings of anxiety, melancholy, and the simple yet undeniable happiness that comes with everyday life.

In the spotlight, Everydaze was nominated for Best New Artist at the Fresh Music Awards 2025 and has made a mark as one of the standout figures among contemporaries. Their debut album, DAZE, was selected as one of the Best Albums of 2024 by the Taiwanese music media outlet BlowMusic, and their hit single, Tangerine Dream, has garnered over 1.3 million streams on Spotify.

The Versatile Producer and Songwriter

Apart from being a talented artist, Everydaze also excels as a producer, arranger, and songwriter. They have collaborated with a wide array of renowned artists across Taiwan, South Korea, and China, showcasing their diverse musical capabilities. Everydaze has worked with notable figures such as Hebe, Enno Cheng, Chih Siou, Vivian Hsu, Lücy, Pei-Yu Hung, Andr, and Dinosaur’s Skin, to name a few. Their contributions to the music scene have led to a nomination for the prestigious Golden Melody Awards (GMA) in the category of Best Album Producer.

Everydaze’s Thoughts

Expressing enthusiasm about their debut performance in Japan, Everydaze shared, _“I have loved Japanese anime and music since I was a child, and I majored in Japanese in university. What's Next for Everydaze?

Currently, Everydaze is featured on Taiwan's TV music show Bandstival and has plans to release a new EP in early 2026. Even after their first performance in Japan, they aim to expand their live activities throughout Asia.
