Experience the Fusion of Wellness and Art in San Diego This February

Wellness Retreat Meets Art Exhibition

Prepare for an exciting fusion of well-being and artistic inspiration as Coterie Public presents a unique event in San Diego, designed to expand your mind and uplift your spirits. This innovative experience, taking place on February 15th from 4 PM to 7 PM at Abpópa Hillcrest, invites attendees to enjoy a curated environment of creativity and tranquility—completely free from any of the substances usually linked to psychedelic experiences.

As a participant, you are encouraged to stay for anywhere between 15 minutes to over 45 minutes to fully immerse yourself in the offered activities. With a focus on comfort, it is recommended that guests dress in relaxed attire that allows for movement—so feel free to stretch out into a yoga pose or simply unwind in meditation. The event embodies a holistic approach to wellness, seeking to spread the sought-after "good vibes" prevalent in contemporary culture.

At the heart of this gathering is Vincent Cordelle, Coterie Public's esteemed Artist in Residence. Cordelle, known for his vibrant artwork that navigates the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and interior design, has transformed a once bland 300-square-foot hotel room into a visually stunning space that radiates creativity and inspiration. This installation will echo the aesthetic flair found in exclusive design magazines like Architectural Digest, allowing visitors a glimpse into his captivating approach to art and space.

Cordelle's works will be on display, featuring mediums such as intaglio printmaking and sculpture, alongside his innovative furniture pieces. His creations juxtapose Baroque influences with abstract expressionism, interspersed with figuration, providing a diverse palette of emotions and thoughts for attendees to explore. Some pieces may have already found homes, marked with red dots from a private Valentine's Vernissage the day prior—so it’s wise to arrive early for the best selection.

The atmosphere will be further enriched by a variety of offerings designed for personal wellness. Enjoy healthy bites, including vegan options from local favorite Gooseberries Kafe, and refresh yourself with freshly pressed juices provided by Ankh Juice of Life. Sound healing sessions will be hosted by Good Karma Community, adding a multi-sensory layer to your experience. Moreover, attendees can seek life and business guidance from Howard Coaching and Consulting, making this not just an art show, but a multidimensional journey of personal growth.

A rare highlight of the evening will be a presentation by the founders of Myceliumatters, who recently gained recognition in a feature from Rolling Stone magazine. They will delve into the interconnectedness of life and share insights on the transformative properties of entheogenic plants and mushrooms, embodying the event’s ethos of mind-expansion.

This gathering is not limited to just art; it's about creating an atmosphere where mindfulness, self-expression, and community converge. Whether you're interested in the art or the wellness aspects, or both, this event presents a distinctive opportunity to connect with your true self in a beautiful environment.
