E-J Electric Installation Co. Brings Big Impact to Children's Mental Health
On September 14, 2025, Purchase College in New York City hosted the 17th annual
Cycle of Support, an event showcasing the collective effort of the community to address children's mental health issues. This year, the bike ride attracted 439 enthusiastic participants divided across 29 teams, ultimately generating a staggering
$952,278 for
The Jewish Board, New York City's largest human services organization dedicated to aiding children in need.
The Cycle of Support is not just about cycling; it is a powerful assembly of individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Over its impressive 17-year history, this initiative has triumphed in raising more than
$10 million, significantly bolstering the provision of compassionate care to over
100,000 children and families. The funds raised directly enhance vital services offered by The Jewish Board, including early intervention, trauma-informed therapy, school-based support programs, and family counseling—all tailored to address the multifaceted challenges that today’s youth face.
Tony Mann, the founder of Cycle of Support, as well as the President Emeritus and Trustee of The Jewish Board, emphasized the urgency of the issues children are dealing with today. He remarked,
"Every day, we see the growing challenges that children face—gun violence, post-COVID trauma, social isolation, anxiety over climate change, academic struggles, and more."
Mann noted that for nearly two decades, Cycle of Support has evolved into more than just a ride; it has developed into a movement advocating for a brighter future. Mann stated,
"It's been a movement—uniting us in action, compassion, and commitment to a better future for vulnerable children. And we need that commitment now more than ever."
The enthusiasm around the event continued to spread the message regarding the pressing need for children's mental health care, fostering hope and awareness within the community. The Jewish Board has been instrumental in supporting over
45,000 individuals annually across all five boroughs, operating from more than
75 locations while ensuring a solid commitment to the Jewish community. To learn more about their efforts, visit
