Set against the stunning backdrop of the hotel’s garden, participants will have the chance to indulge in a special afternoon tea while learning essential manners on
March 3rd, a day that aligns with the traditional Japanese holiday,
Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival).
An Introduction to Afternoon Tea Etiquette
This limited-time class is designed for those looking to grasp the basics of afternoon tea etiquette in a relaxed, engaging environment. Featuring a glamorous aesthetic and delicious offerings, attendees will savor the
Sakura x Strawberry Afternoon Tea, a delightful menu that reflects the beauty of spring.
During this event, guests will learn the ins and outs of afternoon tea from napkin folding to the proper way to handle teacups. Participants will experience firsthand the elegant art of enjoying this British tradition, covering topics like cutlery handling and the unique way to enjoy scones.
The
Sakura x Strawberry Afternoon Tea is curated to feel like a course meal, celebrating the fragrance of cherry blossoms and the sweetness of strawberries, which are in season between January and March. Each menu item will be served in a sequence, allowing participants to experience the flow of afternoon tea naturally while learning to enjoy the moments at the table more pleasantly.
This event is perfect for friends looking to enjoy a seasonal learning experience together or for women’s gatherings, as well as families with children aged 6 and older. Children will have the chance to learn table manners alongside their parents, creating unforgettable memories while also enhancing dining experiences at home. This class serves not only as a delightful way to mark Hinamatsuri but also as a catalyst for making mealtime more enjoyable in everyday life.
To top off the experience, guests will receive a special gift of
Camellia Tea, made from pesticide-free camellia flowers blended with sweet tea, allowing them to bring a touch of spring home with them.
