Vermon Group Launches to Accelerate Growth and Expand Offerings
Vermon Group, a pioneering international company specializing in ultrasound technology, has recently announced its establishment to enhance growth and broaden its offerings in both the medical and industrial sectors. This launch signifies a pivotal moment as the company transitions from a recognized manufacturer of ultrasound transducers to a comprehensive OEM partner in ultrasound solutions.
A New Chapter in Ultrasound Technology
On July 8, 2026, Vermon Group unveiled its future plans, which include three strategic milestones designed to usher in a new phase of growth. These milestones encompass the acquisition of Moduleus, a specialist in OEM ultrasound subsystems, and the opening of a new 2,800 square meter manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania under the TransducerWorks brand. Additionally, the establishment of an integrated corporate platform aims to streamline operations and enhance customer collaboration.
Moduleus Acquisition
The acquisition of Moduleus is a critical step in enhancing Vermon’s immediate capabilities. By integrating expert knowledge in OEM ultrasound subsystems, Vermon Group is poised to strengthen its long-standing expertise in acoustic technology. This integration allows the company to offer more cohesive solutions to its customers, enabling them to work with a single partner that can manage projects ranging from high-performance transducers to comprehensive OEM subsystems. This shift not only simplifies development processes but also accelerates innovation, benefiting the sector significantly.
A State-of-the-Art Production Facility
The new TransducerWorks production facility in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, represents a major leap for Vermon Group’s manufacturing presence in North America. This facility is four times larger than its predecessor and features ISO Class 7 and 8 clean rooms, as well as an integrated machining workshop. This significant investment is set to triple the company’s production capacity, allowing it to better support customers through every stage of development, from initial design to mass production. Furthermore, it enhances the company's ability to respond rapidly to the needs of North American OEMs and fosters closer collaboration with them.
Unified Corporate Platform
The introduction of a unified corporate platform that brings together Vermon, Moduleus, TransducerWorks, and Vermon NDT allows customers to access complementary expertise across the fields of acoustics, electronics, engineering, and industrial manufacturing. This integrated approach is designed for OEMs, facilitating a quicker development pace, reducing complexity, and bringing next-generation ultrasound technologies to market more swiftly.
With more than 600 employees globally, over 130 dedicated field experts, and over 40 years of experience in ultrasound technology, Vermon Group is reinforcing its reputation as a reliable OEM partner for the next generation of medical and industrial ultrasound innovations.
