Sensorview's Entry into Japan
The Korean RF solution provider Sensorview Co., Ltd. has officially launched operations in the Japanese market in collaboration with JASP Inc., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. This strategic partnership aims to leverage Sensorview's advanced RF technologies and products in Japan's burgeoning communication and defense sectors.
Sensorview has a clear vision of being an all-round player in the civil and defense communication sectors, focusing on developing and manufacturing RF cables, connectors, antennas, and transmission modules. The company prides itself on supplying high-performance and reliable products across various high-demand sectors, including communication, semiconductors, automotive, aerospace, and defense.
Core Technologies and Signature Products
At the heart of Sensorview’s innovations are low-loss nano-material technology aimed at minimizing RF losses, and EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) shielding technology that enhances noise resistance. These core technologies form the backbone for their high-performance RF cables, connectors, antennas, and transmission modules, tailored for applications demanding high-speed and high-frequency communications, such as 5G and 6G technologies.
Among the standout products in Sensorview’s lineup is the ultra-lightweight RF cable
Zenild®, designed for aerospace and UAV applications. This cable utilizes a unique braiding technique with silver-plated fibers, achieving raw material weight reductions of about 60% compared to copper wire, and a finished product weight reduction of around 20%. Another innovative product, the
FlexiBe® RF cable, boasts a minimal bending radius of just 1.5mm (outer diameter of 2mm), allowing for up to a 96% reduction in wiring space within devices compared to traditional products.
In addition to these, the
Gannector®, a hybrid magnetic connector capable of supporting frequencies up to 20GHz, stands out due to its Quick-Lock structure that facilitates rapid attachment and detachment without the need for a torque wrench. This product significantly enhances usability and maintenance, making it ideal for communication devices and testing equipment.
Sensorview has also developed ultra-compact transmission lines for 5G/mmWave applications, designed to suppress crosstalk to the extreme. These components have been adopted globally as standard parts in Qualcomm's 5G small cell modules. Furthermore, the company, in partnership with STMicroelectronics, has created the
ST60, a high-capacity wireless communication module utilizing the 60GHz band, enabling cable-free high-speed data transmission across various applications including industrial and IoT devices.
Currently, Sensorview has established a solid reputation, having previously worked with global giants such as Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, Google, and Keysight. In 2023, the company was listed on the KOSDAQ market in South Korea and is now poised to accelerate its global expansion, particularly in civil communication and defense sectors.
Plans for Japan
In the Japanese market, JASP will serve as the sales window for Sensorview products, providing product proposals and technical support. The focus will be on targeting communication device manufacturers, semiconductor-related companies, defense contractors, and automotive component manufacturers. JASP is excited to contribute to the introduction of Sensorview’s excellent RF technologies and products in Japan, promoting new technological collaborations and joint developments that will create new values in high-performance communication, defense, and semiconductor fields.
As Sensorview officially enters the Japanese market, it signifies a new chapter, where innovation and quality meet, promising enhanced solutions for industries requiring high-frequency and high-performance RF applications.
