From May 11 to June 30, 2026, the Hotel Metropolitan in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, will host an exciting food event titled the 'Southern Treasure Box Kagoshima Fair' at its renowned Chinese restaurant 桂林. This is the first restaurant-led celebration focusing solely on Kagoshima, a prefecture known for its stunning natural heritage, vibrant culture, and unique local cuisine.
Kagoshima is rich in attractions including three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, picturesque hot springs, quaint islands, and deep-rooted festivals.
