Participating in EARTH HOUR 2026: Watami's Commitment to Sustainability

Watami Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ota, Tokyo, is joining forces with 22 other companies to participate in one of the largest environmental actions in the world, EARTH HOUR 2026, organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Set to take place on March 28, 2026, from 20:30 to 21:30, the initiative encourages businesses, individuals, and communities globally to turn off their lights in a symbolic act of solidarity for our planet.

Since 2019, Watami has been active in this eco-friendly movement and is committed to raising awareness about environmental issues. This year, over 159 locations across Watami's restaurant brands will participate in light down activities, including displaying educational posters and dimming their signage. Notably, the TGI Fridays location at Kanagawa Arts Theater will host a special Candle Night event.

During the Candle Night event, the restaurant will feature candlelit tables and dimmed lighting to foster a cozy atmosphere for diners. This initiative aims to create an intimate setting where guests can enjoy their meals while reflecting on environmental issues.
