This showcase, open from July 15, 2026, to June 30, 2027, is designed to provide a comforting space where visitors can unwind and enjoy music, paralleling the comforting ambiance of traditional Japanese cafés.

Kawai's mission, 'Resonate Life,' is central to this exhibition, reflecting the company's deep-rooted commitment to enhancing people's lives through music. By creating a space reminiscent of a beloved café that transcends generations, Kawai aims to invite everyone—from piano players to casual station-goers—to experience the harmony of music and a moment of respite.

Exhibition Features

The 'Kawai Café' area is crafted as a sanctuary for relaxation amid travel. Visitors can take a moment to listen to soothing melodies while appreciating the craftsmanship displayed in various piano-themed designs. One of the standout features is a table made from the grand piano's lid, utilizing Bird's Eye Maple, a wood often found in Shigeru Kawai grand pianos, finished with a glossy surface for an elegant touch.

A centerpiece of the exhibition is the Kawai Grand Piano GX Series model, specifically the GX-2, prominently featured on stage. This model is equipped with the AURES AR2 soundboard speaker system, delivering delightful piano performances during weekdays. On weekends and holidays, the piano transforms into a street piano, inviting anyone to showcase their talent and share in the joy of music.
