GIGABYTE Introduces 'Refine & Define' at CES 2026: A New Era for AI Computing

GIGABYTE's 'Refine & Define' Premieres at CES 2026

At the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), GIGABYTE, a prominent player in the global computing industry, showcased its ambitious philosophy titled "Refine & Define." This new approach focuses on refining the core components of both hardware and software to set a new standard for AI computing.

The unveiling of this philosophy comes with significant advancements that GIGABYTE promises will enhance the responsiveness, efficiency, and overall user-friendliness of AI across various platforms including motherboards, graphics cards, AI-specific laptops, and OLED gaming monitors. This ecosystem is designed to integrate smoothly and deliver exceptional performance for users ranging from gamers to content creators.

One of the highlights of GIGABYTE's presentation was the introduction of the X3D Turbo Mode 2.0. This innovative fusion of software and hardware is optimized for the latest AMD Ryzen 9000 Series X3D processors. By harnessing the capabilities of an integrated hardware chip alongside dynamic AI overclocking, GIGABYTE aims to provide real-time performance optimization, pushing boundaries in the lifestyle computing market.

An exciting addition to the lineup is the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY graphics card, which features WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling. This new cooling solution utilizes a distinct PCB design coupled with efficient airflow to ensure maximum cooling efficiency, allowing users to fully exploit the AI computational capabilities of the RTX series.

Furthermore, GIGABYTE announced the launch of its AORUS RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX, a portable eGPU packed with 16 GB of VRAM, which dramatically boosts the performance of ultrabooks. The accompanying GPU Selector Software will empower users to allocate specific applications to designated GPUs, optimizing performance for demanding generative AI workloads, including simulations in ComfyUI and LM Studio.

In terms of AI integration, GIGABYTE introduced GiMATE, its exclusive AI agent that elevates AI capabilities in laptops. GiMATE incorporates advanced language model (LLM) features with a unique Press and Speak function, making interactions more intuitive and user-friendly. In addition, the GiMATE interface has received a significant facelift, enabling AI Power Gear III to execute direct MUX switches without needing to access the BIOS. This streamlining enhances user convenience and efficiency pivotal for seamless computing.

Moreover, improvements for existing models like the AORUS MASTER 16, AERO X16, and GAMING A18 PRO include hardware upgrades that support AI-enhanced content creation, productivity, and gaming performance. GIGABYTE also introduced HyperNits technology, enhancing HDR, and a special AI image mode designed to optimize standard dynamic range (SDR) imagery. This innovation bolsters the OLED performance in their new lineup of gaming monitors, including the ultrawide QD-OLED MO34WQC36 and 4K QD-OLED MO32U24 models.

During CES 2026, attendees can witness GIGABYTE's AI innovations in person through live demonstrations featuring motherboards, graphics cards, AI gaming laptops, OLED gaming monitors, and the AI-TOP system.
