Best Video - Aerial Category


In a notable triumph, the Annual Best Video in the Aerial Category was awarded to Africa Unseen by creator ellisvanjason. This cinematic masterpiece captures the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant wildlife of Africa, created utilizing an impressive array of DJI tools such as the Inspire 3 and Ronin 4D. With over 35 TB of cinematic footage, the work exemplifies the creator's passion and commitment to visual storytelling. Judges were in awe of the film’s composition and the way it masterfully blended footage to create an immersive narrative. Comments from the jury noted the technical precision and evocative color work that made it stand out.

Best Video - Handheld Category


The Handheld Category was won by Elsewhere The Gaze Can Always Arrive by AYANG. This work enthralled the judges with its delicate narrative and seamless fusion of aerial and ground shots, showcasing an effective use of varying shot types and compositions to enrich the story.

Best Photo


In the Photography Category, The Gate by Filip Hrebenda was named the Annual Best Photo. This striking image combines elements of natural framing, atmospheric fog, and human scale. Judges praised its unique composition, noting the ethereal quality that invites viewers to connect deeply with the moment captured. The interplay of light and shadow further elevates the emotive quality of the piece, illustrating a vivid connection between humanity and nature.

Among these remarkable works, several other entries impressed the judges with their creativity. Carpet Fields by F. Dilek Yurdakul stood out for its rhythmic patterns, while Smoking Skull by Daniel captured a rare volcanic event with unsettling beauty, showcasing the power of capturing ephemeral moments through artistry.
