Celebrating Artistic Talent at Nurimasu
The eagerly awaited results for the 35th edition of the Nurimasu coloring contest were revealed on March 2. Co-hosted by Celsys and Ibis Inc., this digital coloring competition attracted a remarkable total of
4,394 submissions, showcasing the vibrant creativity of participants from around the world!
This year, the contest was themed around
Snow Miku 2026, with illustrators like
Booota,
PiPi, and
Mik-kun creating original line art for participants to color. Enthusiastic artists responded to this call, contributing a staggering
3,341 illustrations and
1,053 time-lapse videos.
For those unfamiliar, Nurimasu is a fun and engaging contest where participants can download line art and color it digitally. After completing their art, they simply post it online with a designated hashtag to enter. This contest has garnered a collective participation of over
163,000 submissions since its inception, providing a platform where artists of all skill levels can express their creativity through coloring.
The judging process concluded with several accolades:

1 Liquid Tablet Award,
4 Snow Miku Awards,
5 Excellence Awards, and
30 Honorable Mentions. Winners will receive exciting prizes from supporting companies, along with a personalized acrylic panel featuring their artwork. Additionally, for those who did not win, there’s a lucky draw for 50 participants to win exclusive collaboration clear files.
