Cassina to Launch New Collection in July 2025
On July 24, 2025, Cassina will unveil its innovative new collection at the Aoyama flagship store, showcasing a harmonious blend of art and functional design. This highly anticipated event highlights not only new interpretations of classic pieces but also reflects a strong commitment to sustainability.
Highlights of the Collection
The spotlight of this collection is the
CORNARO sofa, originally designed by renowned architect Carlo Scarpa in 1973. The refreshed design maintains the original’s geometric beauty while enhancing comfort through modern proportions developed in collaboration with Tobia Scarpa, Carlo's son. The result is a visually striking piece featuring contrasting materials, including glossy beech wood and matte ash finishes, allowing for various color combinations with upholstery fabrics. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the sofa is crafted with eco-friendly materials such as recycled PET fibers and bio-based polyols, demonstrating Cassina's commitment to sustainable design practices.
Adding to the elegance of living spaces is the
ORDINAL low table designed by Michael Anastassiades. This luxurious marble coffee table complements the minimalist aesthetics of the collection and is available in both rectangular and square shapes. The sturdy metal under-top structure ensures exceptional stability, making it a practical yet chic choice for any lounge.
Moreover, the
TOREI low table, designed by Luca Nichetto, showcases a modular approach, allowing for flexible arrangements. Its geometric shapes pay homage to Japanese aesthetics, featuring options in natural ash, polished bronze, and marble. This table encourages creativity and interaction, transforming spaces into dynamic social hubs.
The new
TAMBUROUND lounge chair, created by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, features a unique 360-degree swivel mechanism. This chair seamlessly integrates into various settings, including contract projects and hotel lounges, by offering a smooth and stable seating experience. Designed with sustainability in mind, its structure minimizes the use of polyurethane foam and includes recycled materials.
Finally, the collection introduces the
BROLIC vase, created through a collaboration with young designer Bradley L. Bowers. This sculptural ceramic vase captures the essence of life through its interplay of positive and negative spaces, embodying rhythms found in nature. Each piece, handcrafted and artistically unique, blurs the boundaries between art and collectible design.

The collection will be showcased not only at the Aoyama store from July 24, but also at the Fukuoka store around the same time, with subsequent exhibitions in Nagoya and Osaka starting July 31.
