WilmerHale recently announced the addition of Andrea Paul as a partner in their Life Sciences Group located in Boston, with her tenure beginning on October 6, 2025. With a wealth of expertise in the life sciences field, Andrea is recognized for her comprehensive advisory roles on multifaceted legal and transactional issues, encompassing corporate governance, securities disclosure, and strategic transactions.

Having held significant in-house positions, including General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer in various publicly traded life sciences companies, she has a robust background in guiding major operations across the nation. Her experience also includes significant tenure at top-tier AmLaw 100 firms, where she successfully advised clients on both corporate and transactional legal matters.

Andrea Paul, previously the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals, brings significant experience from her roles in other cutting-edge life sciences companies. She has held positions as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at LogicBio Therapeutics, Vice President of Legal at Akebia Therapeutics, and Senior Corporate Counsel at Momenta Pharmaceuticals. Her legal career started at an AmLaw 50 firm in London in 2008 before moving to Boston in 2013, where she flourished at another AmLaw 100 firm until 2016.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Columbia University in 2003 and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 2008, where she notably served as Managing Editor of The Harvard Law Review.
