FM Yokohama Introduces 'FEEL THE MUSIC'

Starting July 5, FM Yokohama will unveil an exciting new music information program called "LIVE DAM WAO! Presents 'FEEL THE MUSIC'". The show will air every Saturday at 10 PM and is produced by Earthly Nine Co., Ltd, in collaboration with Daiichikosho's music publishing division. This initiative aims to enhance group synergy by promoting artists and their music effectively.

The program will be hosted by Laco, the talented lead vocalist of the emerging rock group EOW, known for captivating performances both as a band member and a solo singer. Laco will engage with various guest artists every week, uncovering their unique charms through insightful conversations tailored to their musical backgrounds.

In addition to interviews, the program will also feature a monthly segment dedicated to showcasing the DAM karaoke rankings. For this segment, the spotlight will be on the rising star from Neyagawa, Osaka—Kouji Karasuga, the vocalist and guitarist of the three-piece rock band, the paddles. He will present the most popular songs of the month through intimate acoustic performances, delivering a personal touch to the audience.

Through "FEEL THE MUSIC," Daiichikosho aims to convey the joy of singing and the powerful impact of music. The show promises to encourage a range of song usage and vocal performances, making it a vibrant addition to the Japanese music scene.

FM Yokohama has been a staple in Japan's independent FM broadcasting since its inception in 1985. Serving the Kanagawa Prefecture, the station embodies the essence of Yokohama, delivering a mix of soothing music and diverse information to its listeners. Broadcasting on 84.7 MHz (with an additional frequency of 80.4 MHz in Odawara and 87.0 MHz in Isogo), FM Yokohama covers the entire Kanagawa area and parts of the surrounding prefectures. The station is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary on December 20, 2025.
