Introduction to HARUHORO's Anniversary Course
Located in the first floor of Hotel JAL City Haneda in Ota, Tokyo, "Cafe & Dining HARUHORO" is proudly celebrating its 10th anniversary this August! Operated by Haruhoro Co., Ltd. based in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, the restaurant pays homage to the rich culinary history of its roots, originally named after the first Prime Minister of Japan, Hirobumi Ito.
To mark this significant milestone, HARUHORO is launching a limited-time special lunch and dinner course menu that invites guests to indulge in exquisite dishes.
The Significance of the Anniversary Course
The "HARUHORO 10th Anniversary Course" takes inspiration from the classic fugu dishes of the famed Shimonoseki Haruhoro and articulates them through modern culinary techniques. Guests can expect an intricate centerpiece dish featuring "fugu poêlé wrapped in prosciutto," showcasing how traditional flavors can be reimagined.
Guests will not only enjoy a gastronomical experience but will also learn about the history and background of HARUHORO through a specially crafted menu that tells the story of the restaurant's evolution over the past decade.

About Shimonoseki Haruhoro
Founded in 1888, the original Shimonoseki Haruhoro received its name from Prime Minister Hirobumi Ito and was the first establishment in Japan to be formally recognized for fugu cuisine. With the honor of hosting the Imperial Family in 1958 and 1963, Haruhoro stands as a cherished welcoming destination in Shimonoseki.
