SANY Launches Its First Global Remanufacturing Center for Machinery in Hainan
SANY's First Global Remanufacturing Center Opened in Hainan
On December 23, 2025, the SANY Group inaugurated its inaugural global establishment for machinery remanufacturing, known as the SANY Hunan-Hainan Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, located in Dongfang, Hainan province. This landmark event is a significant step in SANY's strategy for globalization and sustainability, with the company securing substantial orders worth 100 million CNY (approximately 14.27 million USD) from Southeast Asia and Africa on the opening day.
An Industry Milestone
The newly opened industrial park is notable as China's first site jointly established by a pilot free trade zone and a pilot free trade port. It aims not only to elevate regional connections between Hunan and Hainan but also to leverage the unique industrial and political strengths of each province to assist Chinese enterprises in expanding their global presence.
Construction of the park commenced in August 2023 and spans approximately 150 mu (about 10 hectares), with total investments estimated at 600 million CNY (around 85.62 million USD). Once fully operational, the park is projected to generate an annual output close to 750 million CNY (around 107.02 million USD).
A Strategic Hub
Strategically nestled in Hainan, the park is designated as a regional center for machinery remanufacturing and will also serve as a resource distribution platform catering to both domestic and international markets. The focus of the park includes the maintenance and remanufacturing of essential components and used machinery sourced domestically and overseas, promoting the circular reuse of industrial resources.
In tandem with Hainan's free trade zone, significant fiscal benefits have been established, including customs preferences for approved value-added processing activities. Remanufacturing operations will be regulated under government supervision, enabling eligibility for corporate and income tax incentives. The park stands to benefit from the
