The Shinkansen is set to introduce its luxurious 'Supreme Class Cabin' starting October 1, 2026, and what better way to prepare than by attending the upcoming experience events? This new class promises an elevated travel experience with more refined amenities and services compared to the already plush Green car. Interested travelers will have the unique chance to explore mockups of the 'Supreme Class Cabin' and 'Supreme Class Seat' at specific locations before the official service begins.

Event Overview

The 'Supreme Class' experience events will be hosted at multiple locations along the Tōkaidō and Sanyō Shinkansen lines:

• - Tokyo Station: September 1-13, 2026 (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, except on September 1, which opens at 9:30 AM)
• - Shin-Osaka Station: September 15-20, 2026 (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• - Hiroshima Station: September 22-27, 2026 (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• - Hakata Station: September 29 - October 4, 2026 (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• - Nagoya Station: November 1-8, 2026 (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Each event will allow visitors to experience the luxurious features of the 'Supreme Class' seating options in person. The 'Cabin' mockup exhibits will showcase private compartments, while representatives will provide detailed explanations about the services offered.

How to Participate

Participation in the events is free of charge. However, the experience at Tokyo, Shin-Osaka, and Nagoya stations will require prior reservations, as spots are limited. Visitors can reserve a time slot for a 5-10 minute seat experience, which can also be booked on the same day, subject to availability. Hiroshima and Hakata stations will be open for general viewing and seating without the need for a reservation.

Additional Features

Attendees at Tokyo, Shin-Osaka, and Nagoya stations will receive a complimentary bottle of 'Supreme Class' branded mineral water for each reservation. Moreover, those who complete a brief survey after their experience will be eligible to receive a 'Tsujiri Hōjicha Baum' as a thank-you gift, which will be one of the welcome offerings available onboard after the official launch.

As a reminder, media coverage may occur during the events, and attendees should anticipate potential changes or cancellations due to equipment issues or natural events. All transportation and accommodation costs are the responsibility of participants.
