On August 9, 2025, the second edition of the 'Dance Diet Fest 2025 Summer' took place at Ikebukuro West Exit Park, proudly sponsored by Toshima City. This innovative event aimed to promote health through engaging experiences where attendees could watch, vote, and taste delicious healthy food.
The festival welcomed nine food trucks offering trending healthy cuisine, allowing interaction between businesses and visitors. Enthusiastic participants from all age groups, from children to adults, filled the park with smiles.
Dance Diet Contest Highlights
The key attraction of the festival was the 'Dance Diet Contest.' This year, participant votes totaled over 10,000, combining both pre-event and on-site voting. To spice up the atmosphere, a new reward system entitled 'Supporters Award' was introduced, creating a sense of unity among attendees who cheered for their favorites.
Noon: Launching the Event!
The event kicked off at noon with lively commentary from hosts Kiyoshi Narita (Executive Director of the Japan Diet Health Association), Erina Higashi, and Ria Ishii, generating immediate excitement. Participants entered the venue with smiles, curious about what experiences lay ahead.
12:30 PM: Savoring Gourmet Healthy Cuisine
Lunch offered a feast of delicious and healthy culinary choices! Dreams of guilt-free eating and satisfying meals came true as a selection of carefully curated dishes was presented. There were:

The festival also hosted a quiz aimed at educating on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while providing fun for all ages. Participants could earn stamps for correct answers to exchange for prizes, making learning enjoyable!
Notably, the event adopted many eco-friendly measures, such as electronic tickets to reduce paper waste, and used eco-friendly containers throughout the festival. Participants even received a stamp rally page that doubled as a fan, combining fun with education.
1:30 PM: New Health Experiences in Sponsor Booths
Center stage were booths from sponsor companies, offering hands-on health experiences. Notable activities included:

3:00 PM: Dance Experience for Everyone!
The high-energy highlight was led by Super High School, a YouTube sensation with over 340,000 subscribers. They conducted a dance session that captivated participants of all ages, followed by a mini live concert that elevated the festive spirit.
3:30 PM: Healthy Snack Time!
After an invigorating dance, attendees delighted in natural sweets like acai bowls and koji amazake to recharge. Notable vendors included:

The much-anticipated 'Dance Diet Contest', themed 'Within Enjoyment Lies the Future,' celebrated the essence of fun in health pursuits. Audience voting determined rankings even for beginners, fostering an atmosphere of support and excitement.
Creators like MC Nishigaki and guest judge BOW stirred up the enthusiasm, making this a shared moment of joy and challenge among all attendees. Results revealed strong support, with over 10,000 votes cast throughout the day. Winning participants received commendations from
