Inviting Local Children for a Summer of Fun
In light of the devastating Kumamoto earthquake that occurred on July 28, 2026, Forest Adventure, a nature-based park in Kumamoto, is making a heartfelt gesture to support affected communities. From August 17 to August 31, the park is offering local elementary and middle school students a chance to experience the excitement of the Canopy Course at no cost. This initiative is dedicated to creating joyful memories for children who have faced hardships due to the disaster.
The earthquake not only affected countless lives but also caused significant challenges for the local community. Forest Adventure, located in Misato, Kumamoto Prefecture, closed temporarily on July 29, 2026, due to safety concerns following the quake. After conducting thorough safety inspections, the park reopened ahead of schedule on August 8, ensuring its facilities were safe and ready to welcome visitors once again.

This immersive experience in the forest not only promotes physical activity but also fosters a sense of achievement as participants navigate through the challenges of the course.
By encouraging children to engage with the outdoors, this initiative aims to help them refresh their spirits and create lasting summer memories amidst a challenging environment.
