Leap Forward HYOGO: Embracing Startup Growth in Hyogo Prefecture
In a revolutionary initiative, Creww Co., Ltd. and Hyogo Prefecture have announced the launch of the "Leap Forward HYOGO" program, set to commence on May 9, 2025. This program aims to support startups that are taking on social challenges and seeking to drive regional economic growth.
Objectives of Leap Forward HYOGO
This initiative is designed to provide concentrated hands-on support to startups. By leveraging networks from supporting organizations and financial institutions, the program is set to accelerate the growth of participating companies, enabling them to evolve into leading enterprises within Hyogo Prefecture.
The support provided through the program comes through various avenues:
- - Collaboration and Market Development Support: Utilizing a comprehensive network with supporting organizations and financial institutions, the program actively implements business matching to fuel growth opportunities for startups.
- - Funding Procurement Assistance: Expert advice will be incorporated into capital policy tailored specifically for each participating company, ensuring robust support for fundraising efforts.
- - Organizational Development & Talent Acquisition Support: As these startups expand, they will receive direct assistance in hiring suitable talent and other operational support.
- - Regular Mentoring: Scheduled mentoring sessions with the program office will take place, in addition to consultations with experts, addressing the unique challenges faced by the startups involved.
Eligibility for Participation
To qualify for the program, startups must meet the following conditions:
- - Have their headquarters in Hyogo Prefecture, or show a clear intent to relocate their headquarters there during the program's duration.
- - Have developed concrete products or prototypes ready for market, having completed or nearly completed their Proof of Concept (PoC).
- - Demonstrate a record of fundraising through equity from venture capitalists, individual investors, or corporate entities.
- - Possess specific management challenges that need to be addressed, with a capable structure to take actionable steps towards their goals.
Number of Selected Startups
The program anticipates accepting a maximum of five startups. Following the completion of the application form and necessary documentation, a presentation screening will be conducted on June 10, 2025, in Kobe City, to finalize the selected companies. Should there be a high volume of applications, a written review may be conducted prior to presentations.
