New Culinary Experience in Zama City



On May 27, 2026, a new dining establishment named ‘Nikusanuki Mocchi Udon Genjiro’ is set to open in Zama City, Kanagawa, introducing a unique udon experience tailored for all age groups. This innovative eatery, the 15th concept under Monogatari Corporation, aims to provide full-service dining with a focus on fresh, handmade, and fried products.

One of the standout offerings includes the famous `Kirishima Black Pork Nikusanuki Udon` priced at 790 yen (989 yen including tax) and `Domestic Beef Stew Nikusanuki Udon` for 890 yen (979 yen including tax). Classic options such as `Kake Udon` and `Seiro Udon`, both available at 590 yen (649 yen including tax), ensure that the menu caters to diverse palates. Guests can fill up for just around 1,000 yen, as the pricing allows for up to four bowls of udon at the same rate.

The restaurant prides itself on meticulously selected wheat to ensure a chewy texture, delightful stickiness, and a smoothly enjoyable mouthfeel. The two-stage aging process allows for optimal moisture retention, elevating the udon experience to new heights.
