This calendar highlights numerous occasions across the country where enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the world of sake, shochu, and mirin, providing an excellent opportunity for industry professionals and the general public alike.

August 5th (Wednesday): Okayama Brewery Gathering in Tokyo
Time: 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Doors open at 11:00 AM)

Organizer: Okayama Sake Brewers Association
Details: The event showcases brewers and rice farmers from Okayama, known for its sake rice. Participants will engage in discussions and tastings centered around the Okayama rice, Yamada Nishiki, illuminating the present and future of Okayama's sake.

August 5th (Wednesday): The 17th Omachi Summit
Location: Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, 5F Banquet Room, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo

Details: This summit features various sake brewed from the legendary Yamada Nishiki rice. Attendees are invited to taste and compare the unique characters of different brews, making it a must-visit for both fans and newcomers.
