Musashino Art University, located in Kohei City, Tokyo, is excited to announce an upcoming open campus event specifically designed for working professionals at its Ichigaya campus. Since 2022, the university has offered the Value Creation Program (VCP), a certification course aimed at cultivating creativity and bridging the gap between artistic education and societal needs. This event promises unique insights as it features both program alumni and faculty who have contributed to curriculum development.

Event Overview

This open campus will delve into the Value Creation Program, which aims to develop creative thinking skills and learn practical methods for applying these in the business realm. This special occasion includes a keynote speech by VCP School instructor Yukiya Hagiwara and an interactive exchange session. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions to alumni of the program.

About the Value Creation Program

The Value Creation Program goes beyond specific thinking methodologies such as design thinking and art thinking; it leverages knowledge gained through over 90 years of shaping education at Musashino Art University. This PBL (Project-Based Learning) program integrates diverse perspectives through creative exploration to uncover new relationships. Participants will gain insights and methodologies necessary for generating new business ideas during the 10-day program.
