The Launch of a New Classical Concert Series
Tacticart Co. is proud to announce the start of a unique classical concert series featuring the talented violinist Ai Takamatsu. The inaugural concert, titled
'AI Takamatsu Classical Concert Vol. 1: Resonance,' is scheduled to take place on June 13, 2025, at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in Tokyo, and again on July 5, 2025, at Kobe Asahi Hall.
This series is designed to resonate with audiences by delivering the essence of classical music, led by the next-generation violinist Ai Takamatsu, who has gathered a social media following of over 600,000 and enjoys popularity in her national tours. The first concert, themed
'Resonance,' promises a rich experience through the performance of classics in the piano trio format.
Joining Ai on stage will be acclaimed pianist Koki Kuroiwa and young cellist Yosuke Shimizu. The program includes two prominent works from the Romantic era: Arensky's
Piano Trio and Brahms's
Piano Trio No. 1. Both musicians bring their own unique talents to create an unforgettable sonic experience. Ai, a graduate of the prestigious Tokyo University of the Arts, has collaborated with various orchestras as a soloist, recently releasing albums titled 'FOUR SEASONS' and 'PRISM,' while also engaging a wider audience through her YouTube channel.
Koki Kuroiwa, the pianist in this trio, has an impressive track record of winning numerous awards in competitions both nationally and internationally, showcasing his skills not only as a performer but also as an educator. Yosuke Shimizu, a graduate of the Liszt Academy in Hungary, focuses on chamber and solo performances and is fast becoming one of the rising stars in the cello community.
In this concert, the program beautifully juxtaposes Arensky’s lyrical piano trio with Brahms's structurally rich first piano trio. The interconnections of sound created by these three outstanding artists align perfectly with the concert’s title
'Resonance'—symbolizing the harmonious relationship forged among the music, the performers, and the audience. Attendees can expect to experience the deep emotions and intricate structures of each piece in a real and intimate environment, making this a must-see event for classical music fans.
Ticket sales will begin with an exclusive pre-sale for members of Ai Takamatsu's YouTube channel from April 26, 2025, at 6 PM to April 30 at midnight. General ticket sales will commence on May 3, 2025, at 10 AM, with additional selected outlets starting on May 7.
The name
'Resonance' embodies the aspiration to explore the musical echoes generated between the pieces, the performers, and the audience. We invite you to join us for this inaugural concert and come closer to the core of classical music.
