Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 Global Final: A Display of Talent and Innovation
The Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 Global Final, which was successfully concluded in Shenzhen, marks a noteworthy achievement in the realm of technology education. This event, now in its ninth year, has seen exponential growth with participation from over 210,000 students and educators from more than 2,000 educational institutions across 100 countries and regions. Following a series of national and regional competitions, 179 teams from 48 different nations showcased their skills and innovations at this prestigious global stage.

Innovation Competition saw four teams take center stage, including those from Bulacan State University in the Philippines and Beijing University of Technology in China, among others. In the
Practice Competition, notable victories were claimed by teams from Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology and other institutions across Brazil, Nigeria, and Tanzania. The
Programming Competition awarded its Grand Prize to a team from Shenzhen Polytechnic University, showcasing exceptional proficiency in software development.
Moreover, the competition also celebrated contributions to diversity and sustainability within the tech space. The
Women in Tech Award was given to four all-female teams, further empowering the representation of women in technology, while the Green Development Award acknowledged a team from Ghana for their innovative solutions focusing on environmental sustainability. Additionally, 18 instructors from countries including Algeria, Bangladesh, and Brazil were recognized for their significant impact in ICT education, receiving the Most Valuable Instructor Award.
