PNC Bank Launches 'Mane St. Branch' in North Texas
On November 4 and 6, right before the Dallas Stars hockey games, PNC Bank is set to unveil its exciting pop-up experience named 'Mane St. Branch'. This initiative is part of a major $1.5 billion investment aimed at enhancing and expanding its branch network across the country, offering clients more robust support for their financial aspirations.
Situated on PNC Plaza, just outside the American Airlines Center, this vibrant faux branch is themed around the spirited culture of hockey hair, illustrating PNC’s commitment to long-term financial growth. Fans and community members are encouraged to join in the fun by sporting their own epic hairstyles, as a nod to the iconic hockey culture that has long been associated with the sport.
Brendan McGuire, the regional president for North Texas at PNC, expressed the bank’s enthusiasm by stating, “Our Mane St. Branch celebrates growth in every sense and acts as a playful reminder that worthwhile achievements, like a legendary head of hockey hair or a solid financial strategy, require determination and patience.” The initiative not only engages local fans in an entertaining way but also showcases PNC’s dedication to enriching the Dallas community.
The aesthetics of the 'Mane St. Branch' are inspired by a traditional barbershop, with an exaggerated installation of voluminous hair adorning the exterior. The experience will feature support from National Hockey League Players’ Association and various Dallas Stars players, including Jason Robertson and Matt Duchene. Attendees of the event will have the chance to receive a complimentary limited-edition Dallas Stars Hockey Hair Hat, available in multiple styles while supplies last.
Open to both ticket holders and the general public from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM CDT, the pop-up experience aims to provide hockey fans with more than just a memorable outing; it aims to connect them with valuable insights on how PNC can help achieve their financial goals.
Reflecting on the significance of the event, Brad Alberts, the president and CEO of the Dallas Stars, said, “We greatly appreciate PNC Bank's long-standing support and are thrilled to collaborate on the Mane St. Branch. For hockey enthusiasts, this is an engaging opportunity that fosters a deeper connection to the sport while illustrating how PNC can assist in achieving their life objectives.”
Additionally, PNC’s expansion efforts are set to continue, with the establishment of its third new branch in Arlington, bringing the total to 110 locations throughout North Texas. The bank has revealed plans to launch a total of 17 new branches in the region, as part of an overarching goal to introduce over 200 new locations across 12 cities and renovate approximately 1,400 existing branches over the next five years.
Alex Overstrom, who leads Retail Banking at PNC, emphasized the bank's philosophy: “The message is straightforward—meaningful growth takes time, yet the results can be remarkable.” He further noted PNC's focus on client-centric services and infrastructure development as essential strategies for fostering financial success.
In conclusion, PNC Bank's 'Mane St. Branch' represents not only a creative and interactive event for Dallas Stars fans but stands as a testament to the bank’s enduring commitment to enhancing financial support and engagement within the community, proving that just like hockey hair, great things unfold over time.
