On September 1st, Tanita, a comprehensive health company based in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, announced the pre-sale of two exciting new products in collaboration with the virtual singer Hatsune Miku. These products include a voice timer that offers encouragement through messages and songs, and a digital hygrometer featuring an illustration of Hatsune Miku in a nurse's outfit.

The voice timer is priced at 4,950 yen (tax included) and the digital hygrometer is available for 3,520 yen (tax included), both available through the Tanita online shop. The voice timer will be a reservation-only product, with pre-orders open from 9:00 AM on September 1st, to 1:00 PM on September 26th, with earlier access for attendees of the Hatsune Miku “Magical Mirai 2025” event in Tokyo starting on August 29th. Shipping of the products is planned for late November 2023, while the hygrometer will be sold in limited quantities starting at the same time.

Good job on completing your task,” and “Well done! Let's keep working hard together,” designed to reward and motivate users. Users can choose alarm sounds from five options: including three types of messages and two iconic songs from Hatsune Miku, namely “Senbonzakura” and “Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru♪.” The timer also includes a special voice feature for when users feel their concentration wane or need a motivational boost. Furthermore, it is equipped with a stereo headphone jack, making it usable in environments where sound cannot be emitted.

The digital hygrometer is vital for monitoring potentially hazardous environments and contributes to creating a comfortable indoor atmosphere. It features an illustration of Hatsune Miku wearings a nurse cap, drawn during the first collaboration and highly regarded by fans.
