Supporting Project for High School Baseball Retirement Games at G-Town Stadium in Japan

G-Town Special Rental Program for High School Baseball

This summer, from June to August, G-Town Stadium in Inagi City, Tokyo, will launch a unique initiative called the "Last Game Support Project." This special rental program is dedicated to high school baseball players who are about to retire from their teams. Beginning March 12, teams can sign up to reserve the stadium for their farewell games, responding to numerous requests since the stadium's opening in March of last year.

Program Details

The project aims to create memorable farewell matches for high school seniors from both hardball and softball teams. Teams are invited to book the stadium for five days across nine time slots, providing a totally unforgettable experience for players.

Rental Schedule

  • - Dates: June 22 (Monday) to 24 (Wednesday), July 24 (Friday), August 20 (Thursday)
  • - Time Slots: 13:00 - 16:00 and 17:00 - 20:00 (Note: July 24 only available for the first time slot)

Eligibility and Conditions

The participating teams must consist mainly of third-year high school students who are retiring from their baseball clubs. Teams can choose between internal scrimmages or matches against other schools, regardless of their prefecture. Here are some important conditions to note:
1. Only high school players can participate in the games.
2. The representative must be a school faculty member, coach, or parent who will supervise the event on the day of the game.

All operational staff, referees, and game balls should be arranged by the team. Spectator seating will be free of charge, but entry limits may apply depending on the attendance situation.

Rental Fees

The cost for a three-hour rental is 300,000 yen (excluding tax). This fee includes ground maintenance, usage of various facilities, scoreboard use, and night lighting. Teams must arrange for operators and announcers themselves.

Application Process

To apply, teams must send an email to [email protected] with the representative's name, school name, and contact information. The application period is from March 12 to March 23. If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, a lottery will determine successful candidates, who will be contacted individually in late March.
