Cado and BREAK Collaborate for Sleep Awareness Initiative
In a joint effort to promote better sleep among office workers, Cado has teamed up with BREAK, an office smoking area signage media created by Kosodo and New Technology. Coinciding with September 3, Sleep Day, this initiative will run from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The program aims to address common sleep issues faced by working professionals and provides an opportunity to ponder on their sleep habits and environments.
The Need for Sleep Awareness
Research has shown that insufficient sleep can negatively impact health, focus, and job performance. A survey conducted among urban office workers revealed that about one-third prioritize improving their sleep quality. Notably, those who have purchased bedding in the past year are predominantly smokers. This highlights the necessity of creating a platform where office workers can be made aware of sleep's significance.
Campaign Overview
This campaign utilizes the BREAK branding to establish presence in two designated stores in Marunouchi and Shibuya, where various creative signage about sleep will be displayed alongside a showcase of Cado's product, the FOEHN 003 mattress dryer. Additionally, a special segment on the
BREAK TIMES information show, hosted by popular emcee Misato Ugaki, will feature sleep-themed content to engage viewers during their break time.
Special Activities During the Initiative
1.
Special Broadcasts on BREAK TIMES
From August 31 to September 6, the
BREAK TIMES show will feature discussions around sleep, with tips on how to improve sleep quality being shared among office workers during their breaks.
2.
Creative Signage and Product Displays
In Marunouchi and Shibuya stores, a set of eight creative signs will address various sleep themes. These signs will explore topics such as sleep duration, environment, hygiene, and the impact of sleep on workplace performance. Each display will also include QR codes for easy access to product details.
3.
Interactive Experience on Sleep Day
On September 3, a unique opportunity will be available for visitors to test Cado’s FOEHN 003 mattress dryer. Participants can engage with the displayed products to better understand their potential impact on sleep quality. This experiential approach aims to foster a deeper appreciation for the importance of a good sleeping environment.
Product Information
The FOEHN 003, priced at 24,200 yen, features a sleek design in dark gray and operates on a power range of AC100V-240V, supplying an efficient drying solution for bedding. This initiative will not only educate but also invite individuals to reevaluate their sleeping arrangements.
The Future of Sleep Awareness
Through this collaboration, both Cado and BREAK are committed to bolstering the conversation around sleep health for office workers. With ample reach across numerous facilities in Tokyo, BREAK offers a strategic platform to engage with professionals who may struggle with sleep-related issues. As the awareness of sleep importance grows, initiatives like these seek to enhance overall workplace performance and individual well-being.
In addition to helping solve the advertising challenges for participants, BREAK aims to enhance the experience and value delivered to target audiences through suitable content creation and distribution.
The partnership between Cado and BREAK represents a proactive step towards promoting sleep health in bustling urban environments where office workers commonly face challenges to their rest.
