Provident Industrial Set to Commence A20 Logistics Center Development in Arlington, Texas

Provident Industrial Unveils Plans for A20 Logistics Center

Provident Industrial, a key division of the Dallas-based Provident, is gearing up to kick off construction on a substantial industrial project in Arlington, Texas, known as the A20 Logistics Center. This development is situated at 500 E. Bardin Rd in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, particularly in the Lower GSW submarket, a prime area known for its connectivity and accessibility.

Strategic Location

The A20 site boasts a strategic location, positioned just 17 miles from downtown Fort Worth, 19 miles from DFW International Airport, and a mere 25 miles from downtown Dallas. The site's proximity to major highways, with easy access to I-20, I-35W (Fort Worth), I-35E (Dallas), and State Highway 360, significantly enhances its appeal for potential tenants.

Development Details

Once completed, the A20 Logistics Center will feature a modern 161,408-square-foot facility, designed specifically to cater to the needs of contemporary industrial users. Key features of the center include:
  • - A clear height of 32 feet
  • - 34 dock doors
  • - 2 oversized drive-in doors complete with ramps
  • - LED lighting throughout
  • - A spacious 130-foot truck court that can be fully secured

This state-of-the-art Class A industrial facility is set to meet the increasing demand for high-quality industrial spaces in the region, a demand that has surged amid a slowdown in new construction activity due to limited available land.

Expected to be delivered by the first quarter of 2026, the A20 Logistics Center is positioned to address the pressing needs in the Lower GSW submarket. Case Van Lare, Managing Director at Provident Industrial, expresses optimism regarding this venture, emphasizing the company’s strong faith in the Dallas/Fort Worth area's economic stability.

Commitment to Growth

Chris Martin, Director at Provident Industrial, shared his thoughts on the project: "We firmly believe in the strength of the Texas economy, especially in our home area of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The A20 Logistics Center represents a unique opportunity to establish a zoned industrial site in a submarket characterized by high barriers to entry. Arlington's strategic advantages include the remarkable access to DFW’s expansive highway system and a robust labor pool, in addition to being a city that promotes a business-friendly environment, making it an ideal choice for logistics-related businesses.”

Provident has partnered with Humphreys Capital and Farmers Bank & Trust in this venture, bringing a wealth of industry experience to the project. To oversee tenant leasing, Provident has enlisted the expertise of Kurt Griffin, Nathan Orbin, Dalton Knipe, and Weston King from JLL.
