Troy Norris Takes On New Role as Arizona Market President for Comerica Bank

Phoenix, AZ – Comerica Bank has officially announced the appointment of Troy Norris as the Arizona Market President as of February 18, 2025. Norris also holds the position of Group Manager for Business Banking and Middle Market Services in the region.

In his capacity as Market President, Norris is expected to steer business expansion and community-centric initiatives while building and reinforcing relationships throughout Arizona. A significant part of his role will include supervising the Middle Market Business Banking teams who are dedicated to fostering profitable relationships within this key sector of the market.

David Milton, Comerica's Dallas Market President and Director for Middle Market and Business Banking across Arizona, Colorado, and North Texas, commented on Norris's appointment, stating, "Troy's extensive connections and proven leadership in the Phoenix metropolitan area will play a vital role in collaborating with local businesses, community leaders, and stakeholders to drive economic growth while strengthening the bank's reputation in the market. Norris arrives at Comerica with a solid background of over 25 years in the financial sector, having honed his skills first in underwriting and then progressing to relationship management. His most recent role was as Director of Commercial and Industrial Lending at Arizona Bank & Trust for 17 years, where he was responsible for guiding commercial leaders and managing various banking operations. This included overseeing clients whose revenues ranged from $25 million to $200 million within the Greater Phoenix area.

Outside of his professional life, Norris plays an active role in local community initiatives. He currently contributes to the Chandler Compadres, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for children and families in need. His philanthropic engagement extends to several other organizations, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, ICAN Positive Programs for Youth, AZCEND, and the Chandler Education Foundation among others in Maricopa County.

Adding to his impressive profile, Norris is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Nebraska and is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Boulder, Colorado.
