This event aims to raise awareness about the pressing issues surrounding underutilized properties such as vacant houses and difficult-to-manage land, often referred to as "negative assets". Experts will share insights through case studies, seminars, and panel discussions on how real estate donations can serve as a novel approach to providing societal benefits.

With an estimated inheritance donation potential of approximately 1.5 trillion yen in Japan each year, addressing the lingering problems associated with negative assets is critical. Since its inception in 2020, Inheritance Giving Week has aimed to broaden the scope of social contributions via inheritance donations, marking its sixth anniversary this year. This initiative is now garnering attention as it focuses specifically on the realm of real estate donations.
