Asics, a leader in sports footwear, has unveiled its latest innovation, the GEL-CHALLENGER 15, a tennis shoe developed in collaboration with the Japanese tennis brand, Setinn. Available from June 25 on the Asics online store and flagship location in Harajuku, these shoes promise to combine exceptional stability and comfort for both tennis players and fashion enthusiasts alike. Priced at 16,500 yen (tax included), this collaboration aims to redefine modern tennis footwear.

A Blend of Performance and Fashion

The GEL-CHALLENGER 15 is not just another pair of tennis shoes; it's an embodiment of Asics' advanced performance technology fused with Setinn's unique tennis culture. One of the standout features is the innovative WINGWALL structure located on the outer midfoot, which incorporates a significant amount of resin material. This provides excellent support during lateral movements, effectively minimizing power loss and helping players execute quick changes of direction with agility.

The upper part of the shoe is crafted from soft artificial leather that enhances the overall comfort. Additionally, it features punch holes at the front to improve ventilation, while thicker sponge materials are used around the tongue and heel sections to deliver a snug and cozy fit, ensuring that players can stay focused on their game.
