Discovering the Future: STEAM Summer School 2026 for Young Innovators

Ignite Your Child's Curiosity at the STEAM Summer School 2026!

Laurus International School of Science is thrilled to announce the STEAM Summer School 2026, targeted at elementary school students aged 6-11. Kicking off from July 6th to August 21st, this summer program offers a world of exploration, creativity, and STEAM education.

Flexible Participation

Participants can engage in this unique program for as little as one week or extend their experience for the full seven weeks. Each week presents a distinct theme, allowing children to dive deep into science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in an immersive environment.

The Essence of STEAM Education

STEAM education emphasizes not just knowledge acquisition but also encourages students to think independently, create, and present their work. At Laurus, we focus on cultivating the skills necessary to shape the future.

Weekly Themes Overview:

  • - Week 1 (July 6-10): The Taste Atelier
Explore the science behind food! Students will delve into the history of tea and the evolution of chocolate while enjoying hands-on activities such as making ramen and blending herbal teas.

  • - Week 2 (July 13-17): The Brain and Big Questions
How do we perceive the world? With trips to a trick art museum and lectures from neuroscientists, students will discover the inner workings of their brains and enhance their scientific thinking skills.

  • - Week 3 (July 20-24): The Explorer's Voyage
Drawing from Darwin's travel diaries, students will investigate unique ecosystems on islands, learn about biodiversity and adaptions, and even create their own terrariums.

  • - Week 4 (July 27-31): Dream City Builders
Guided by the UN's SDGs, students will design their ideal city from scratch, culminating in a 'Dream City Expo' where they will showcase their work.

  • - Week 5 (August 3-7): Imagination Island
Students will transform sketches into vibrant 3D islands, integrating geography, ecosystems, and teamwork through creating a final exhibition of their island models.

  • - Week 6 (August 10-14): Communication Lab
How is information shared? Students will explore communication methods across species and decode messages, merging linguistics, biology, and coding.

  • - Week 7 (August 17-21): Escape Room Lab
Engage in creative problem-solving through puzzles and codes as students design their own escape room challenges, perfectly wrapping up a summer of learning.
