A Change in Demand for Soft Serve Ice Cream

Traditionally, the Soft Cream Collection, affectionately known as "Sofukore," was introduced during the summer months. However, as revealed last year, the demand for these delightful treats has emerged earlier than expected, particularly around the Golden Week holiday. The 2024 edition of Sofukore saw an incredible response from enthusiasts, leading to a reprint due to overwhelming popularity.

The trend has been gaining momentum, with sales in soft serve ice cream steadily increasing before the summer peak of July and August, driven by holiday travelers and locals alike. This year's collection aims to cater to this early demand, commencing distribution just ahead of Golden Week, marking a fresh opportunity for ice cream lovers to embark on fun-filled road trips sampling their favorite flavors across the Tohoku region.
