The 2025 Fall Collection by ANNOUN: A Groundbreaking Initiative
A Fusion of Art and Support
ANNOUN, a pioneering apparel brand under K Quality Co., Ltd., led by Yoshikazu Sawamoto, is on a mission to transform the lives of disabled individuals through art. With a unique concept blending design with social support, ANNOUN collaborates directly with disabled artists who create stunning pieces that become the foundation for innovative fashion.
The upcoming 2025 Fall Collection exhibition will take place on October 18 in Harajuku, Tokyo. This event will highlight the theme “TEAM ANNOUN,” inspired by imaginary sports teams, with artwork ranging from basketball to soccer to baseball.
Celebrating Artistic Collaboration
At ANNOUN, the creative process begins at “Atelier Announ,” a workspace dedicated to assisting disabled artists. The collaboration allows these individuals to express their creativity through painting, which in turn inspires the design of unique clothing items. This innovative approach not only results in a new style of apparel but also empowers the artists by showcasing their work.
The collection boasts over 100 items, featuring a variety of apparel such as long-sleeve T-shirts (¥7,480~), sweatshirts (¥8,580~), hoodies (¥9,680~), and jackets including puff jackets (¥46,200~) and MA-1 jackets (¥44,000~). Additionally, there are canvas bags (¥4,400~) and smaller accessories starting from ¥1,650. This year’s exhibition also includes art interior pieces starting from ¥9,900.
A Mission Beyond Fashion
ANNOUN stands as a symbol of a new form of business that combines brand value with social contribution. The brand believes in the unexplored potential of artworks created by disabled individuals. By enhancing their innate creativity with design, ANNOUN produces a range of products that serve the dual purpose of provide income and fostering self-expression for these artists.
The revenue generated from sales flows back to the creators, reinforcing a sustainable cycle where disabled individuals receive direct wages, significantly enhancing their quality of life while promoting independence and dignity.
