The 'Biwa Lake Whiskey Cruise 2025' offers guests an opportunity to sail from Otsu Port in Shiga Prefecture on the splendid ship Bianca, immersing themselves in the breathtaking scenery of Lake Biwa while enjoying whiskey and spirits tastings. Attendees will have access to various booths that not only offer tasting opportunities but also feature the sale of exclusive bottles and merchandise.
Moreover, the event will showcase live performances and an informative talk show featuring Mamoru Tsuchiya, the director of the Whiskey Culture Institute and editor-in-chief of the whiskey magazine 'Whisky Galore'. Guests can also savor traditional Scottish cuisine curated by Chef Tsuchiya at the onboard restaurant, available for an additional fee.
The event will be held in two parts, and guests have the option to attend both sessions for an enriching experience.

This unique event welcomes not only bartenders and industry professionals but also whiskey lovers from the general public. A special gift for attendees includes a complimentary barrel flavoring product known as MIZUNARA, generously provided by the only independent import barrel manufacturer in Japan, Ariake Industries Co., Ltd. This easy-to-use product allows participants to enjoy home maturation simply by placing a stick in a bottle of whiskey.
Note: The barrel flavoring will not be distributed by mail or at a later date, and it does not include alcoholic beverages or bottles.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at noon on July 11, with three options available: single tickets for each session, and a combined ticket for both. Once purchased, attendees will receive their entry tickets via mail, which must be presented upon arrival.
