Sure Liu, JA Solar's President of Brand and Marketing, emphasized during the event that the photovoltaic industry is transitioning from merely expanding production capacities to focusing on value creation. He stated, "Consumer product innovations must offer greater customer benefits, not only in performance parameters but also in significantly improving land-use efficiency and project returns." DeepBlue 5.0 is designed to deliver a maximum output of 670W and achieves an impressive efficiency of 24.8%. This remarkable performance is made possible through multiple integrated innovations across wafers, cells, modules, materials, and processes. 1. Design: Its frameless design expands the active generation area while giving the product a unified aesthetic appearance.
2. Quality: The triangular dispersion layout, combined with enhancements in the cell structure, improves durability and reliability, especially in high humidity and heat conditions.
3. Performance: Enhancements in low-light response, backside reflection, and multi-angle light utilization lead to higher energy yield under varied conditions.

During the media dialogue, Ouyang Zi, President of the Product Solutions R&D Center at JA Solar, explained the underlying technology stack responsible for the performance enhancement of DeepBlue 5.0. This module integrates innovations such as low-oxygen wafers with long lifespans, Bycium+ 5.0 n-type cells with passivated contact yielding an open-circuit voltage of approximately 749 mV, and module-level innovations like PII connections, HDP high-density encapsulation, UTG optical optimization, and CSE structural enhancements.

Real-World Testing and Validation



Media representatives were also given a tour of the outdoor testing site at JA Solar, which features tracking systems, multiple ground reflection zones, and commercial roof installations. The real-time data from the DeepBlue 5.0 test array showed significant improvements in energy yield per watt compared to reference systems, confirming the product's advantages under actual Operating conditions.
