Delska Unveils Low-Impact Data Center Enhancing Baltic Digital Infrastructure

Delska's Groundbreaking Data Center in Riga



On April 15, 2026, Delska, a frontrunner in data center operations in the Baltic region, officially launched its cutting-edge facility, EU North Riga LV DC1. This 10 MW data center is meticulously designed to support artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC), positioning Latvia at the forefront of technological innovation in Europe.

Celebrating a New Milestone


The launch event attracted over 400 dignitaries, including government officials, ambassadors, and key industry figures. Speeches delivered by prominent personalities, such as Daiga Mierina, the Speaker of the Parliament, and Evika Silina, the Prime Minister, spotlighted the significance of this data center in advancing secure and sustainable IT infrastructure across Latvia and the surrounding region.

During her address, Prime Minister Silina remarked, "The opening of the Delska data center symbolizes Latvia's economic maturity and its capacity to draw in high-value investments. It exemplifies how technology can dovetail with sustainability to bolster our national security and economic resilience."
