What is Photomatic?

Photomatic was conceived in 2018 by photographer Hong Seung-hyun, who proposed a new way to capture memories: why not take portraits ourselves instead of relying on a photographer? Photomatic is equipped with specially designed lighting and space that allow anyone to capture their best moments simply by pressing a button on a remote connected to the camera. This unique concept and high-quality experience quickly gained popularity among Korean celebrities, including BTS and NewJeans, and has continued to be loved by many since its inception.

In 2024, Photomatic will officially introduce its services in Japan through a collaboration with Kitamura Holdings Group, bringing an exciting new photography experience to the country.
