GAC International Reports Outstanding Sales Growth in First Half of 2026



GAC International has generated impressive sales numbers for the first half of 2026. The company announced a remarkable increase in both its wholesale and retail sales volume, effectively doubling figures from the previous year. The Americas


In North America, GAC's expansion has been notable. In Mexico, the AION ES and AION UT models have pushed their way into the top 10 battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales, solidifying the brand's standing in the electric vehicle market. Furthermore, Bolivia retained its leading position among Chinese car brands sold, while Brazil and Colombia also saw significant growth in GAC vehicle sales.

Asia-Pacific Region


The Asia-Pacific market highlighted GAC's success, particularly in Hong Kong, where it topped the sales charts for personal electric vehicles in April. This achievement came right after subsidy reductions, showcasing the brand's strength and acceptance in a competitive landscape. Between January and May, GAC achieved a cumulative market share exceeding 11%.

In the Middle East and Africa, GAC's contribution to the local automobile market is significant. The EMZOOM SUV model captured the Lebanese market's attention as it took the lead in the B-segment SUV sales, while overall revenue for GAC in the Middle East saw substantial growth against the benchmarks set in previous years.

In Kuwait, it was recognized for the best overall vehicle quality and the highest residual value among Chinese automakers.
