With a focus on nutritious summer ingredients, the festival will feature a wide array of limited edition dishes starring eel, freshly caught horse mackerel, and meaty eggplant.
The festival’s highlight includes a variety of dishes that celebrate the energy-boosting properties of summer nutriments. Ideal for the ‘Doyo no Ushi no Hi’ (Day of the Ox in midsummer), guests can indulge in the rich and savory "unagi skewer" and crispy "unagi tempura". These dishes are not only flavorful but also packed with the stamina needed to combat the summer heat.
For those seeking lighter options, the festival will also introduce refreshing dishes such as "Sliced Horse Mackerel with Condiments" or the seasoned "Horse Mackerel Tempura wrapped in Ume Shiso"—ultimately pairing perfectly with cold sake.
The culinary experience would not be complete without eggplant, showcased in two standout dishes—the "Steel Plate Grilled Eggplant" served whole and the satisfying "Eggplant Wrapped in Meat Tempura". Each bite promises to be irresistible and offers a taste of summer bliss.
