Exploring Zoomlion's Intelligent Hybrid Farming Innovations at AGRITECHNICA 2025

Zoomlion Showcases Smart Hybrid Farming Solutions at AGRITECHNICA 2025

In a significant display of innovation in the realm of agriculture, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. made a memorable debut at AGRITECHNICA 2025, highlighting their commitment to hybrid agriculture technologies. This prestigious trade fair, taking place in Hanover, Germany, served as a platform to unveil nine cutting-edge agricultural machines and implements designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability in farming.

Among the standout presentations were four next-generation tractors, namely the DV3504, DQ2604, DL1604 hybrids, and the H7-600E hybrid harvester. These machines are engineered for large-scale, intelligent farming, emphasizing fuel efficiency and operator comfort, with horsepower ranging from 160 to 350. The flagship DV3504 tractor, for example, boasts an intelligent and distributed electric traction system known as MIDD, which offers an impressive pull force of 119 kN along with a hydraulic flow rate of 227 l/min, meeting the demand for high power in extensive farming operations.

A live demonstration streamed from China showcased the DV3504's autonomous raking capabilities. Utilizing the advanced Zpilot Pro system, observers were able to see how the tractor could autonomously generate optimal trajectories while executing complex maneuvering, including X-turns, all with centimeter-level precision enabled by its high-accuracy multi-sensor fusion positioning system. The event featured multiple viewpoints—drone aerial shots, front and rear cameras of the tractor, a cabin display, and a cloud management platform, offering a comprehensive look at the tractor's performance and potential.

The H7-600E harvester captivated attendees with its remarkable performance metrics: featuring a 20% efficiency increase, over 30% reduction in operator workload, 70% fewer drive components, 50% more reliability, and a 30% decrease in energy consumed. Positioned as the world's first intelligent high-capacity hybrid harvester, it integrates a powerful 480-horsepower engine with an 11.55 kWh battery, delivering a peak output exceeding 600 horsepower.

In addition to the hybrid machines, Zoomlion’s German subsidiary, RABE, unveiled three premium implements suited for various soil conditions: the SUPER ALBATROS smart plow, the PHOENIX T 600 cultivator, and the PANDION M 500 disc harrow.

Liu Yuxin, General Manager of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery, emphasized that the expo marks a key milestone in the company’s strategy, focusing on high-end, international, and new energy solutions for agriculture. Dr. Fu Ling, Vice President and Chief Engineer of Zoomlion, highlighted the importance of leveraging engineering expertise to foster hybridization and intelligence in agricultural equipment, thereby contributing to more sustainable global farming practices.

As the agricultural industry continues to evolve, events like AGRITECHNICA serve as crucial platforms for leaders such as Zoomlion to showcase innovations that promise to shape the future of farming towards sustainability, efficiency, and intelligence. The successful integration of advanced technologies in equipment will undoubtedly set the stage for the next generation of agricultural practices capable of meeting the challenges of today’s food production demands while ensuring environmental stewardship.
