RSC2, Inc. Secures $83 Million Task Order for Aerostat Surveillance

In a notable achievement for defense technology solutions, RSC2, Inc. has recently announced the receipt of an $83 million task order from the U.S. Army. This task is part of the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) program, aiming to bolster engineering and technical support for the Product Director (PD) Aerostats. The PD Aerostats is responsible for overseeing the Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T) family of systems and the Persistent Surveillance Dissemination System of Systems (PSDS2). More recently, it has taken charge of Tethered Unmanned Aerial Systems (TeUAS). Utilizing the sophisticated C5ISR technologies, the PD Aerostats aims to deliver crucial intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and counter-unmanned aerial systems capabilities, crucial for both domestic and international operations.
