In a notable achievement for defense technology solutions, RSC2, Inc. has recently announced the receipt of an $83 million task order from the U.S. Army. This task is part of the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) program, aiming to bolster engineering and technical support for the Product Director (PD) Aerostats. Enhancing Surveillance Capabilities



RSC2's collaboration will extend through a talented consortium that includes Tenax Technologies, Peerless Technologies, Booz Allen Hamilton, Xander Government Solutions, Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation, Aspen Consulting Group, and Elevated Technologies. Together, these companies will deliver a comprehensive suite of services focusing on engineering, logistics, security, financial management, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

The PD Aerostats is responsible for overseeing the Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T) family of systems and the Persistent Surveillance Dissemination System of Systems (PSDS2). More recently, it has taken charge of Tethered Unmanned Aerial Systems (TeUAS). Utilizing the sophisticated C5ISR technologies, the PD Aerostats aims to deliver crucial intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and counter-unmanned aerial systems capabilities, crucial for both domestic and international operations.

Meeting Operational Demands



Scott Cheseldine, Executive Vice President of Mission Solutions at RSC2, expressed pride in the company’s commitment to supporting PD Aerostats’ mission. Moreover, this contract will facilitate operations not only within CONUS (Continental United States) but also OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) initiatives.
