Suits Inc. Unveils Support Campaign for Patent Firms with AI Tool
Suits Inc., headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is excited to announce a new initiative aimed at supporting patent firms through the promotion of its AI task management tool, SuitUp. This campaign is set to run from March 13 to March 20, 2026, and is designed to provide substantial help to firms in the intellectual property sector.
The Patent Firm Support Campaign
As part of the campaign, three selected patent firms will receive three months of free usage of SuitUp following their application via the dedicated contact form. Interested firms are encouraged to indicate their participation by including the phrase "Patent Firm Support Campaign" in the inquiry section of the form.
Through a detailed simulation, Suits Inc. found that a company with 30 employees, with daily task progress checks between superiors and subordinates lasting 8 minutes each, could incur costs upwards of 1.19 million yen monthly. Such a burden can significantly impact small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), making it urgent to incorporate efficient task management systems.
According to a recent survey conducted by Nulabo, the methods for task management in smaller companies often rely heavily on personal tools like emails, calendars, handwritten notes, and business chats. Far fewer companies utilize dedicated task management tools or spreadsheets, indicating a gap that SuitUp aims to fill.
Importance of AI in Patent Firms
For patent firms, integrating AI into their daily operations is becoming increasingly essential. The industry faces numerous challenges, including expanding client bases, adapting to new areas of intellectual property, and improving workforce management. The effective execution of management strategies necessitates a shift from traditional tools to platforms that facilitate better visibility and control.
Excel and spreadsheets are still prevalent, but they introduce challenges such as obscured project and task statuses, leading to possible oversight and delays in decision-making. In the realm of intellectual property, precision and timeliness are critical, and vague management can result in increased workloads and associated risks.
Suits Inc. encourages patent firms to utilize SuitUp to systematically visualize tasks related to case management and daily operations. This approach focuses on prioritization and enhances collective efforts within the firm, thereby improving operational efficiency and leading to faster decision-making.
Features of SuitUp
SuitUp is an innovative project and task management tool designed for ease of use. With functionalities similar to spreadsheet software, it enhances visibility into team activities and minimizes the risks of task omissions or missed deadlines. The tool leverages AI to facilitate seamless team task management, which is vital in today's fast-paced business environment.
The beta version of SuitUp, launched in April 2024, includes essential features such as templates for tasks, deadline notifications, and standardized tasks that differentiate it from traditional solutions. This version is intended to be user-friendly, facilitating everyday use for teams.
Plans are affordably priced, with standard plans set at 1,080 yen per user per month (pre-tax). For firms with fewer than 10 users, a starter plan is available at just 500 yen per user monthly, ensuring broader accessibility to smaller organizations.
